At White Ribbon Alliance Sierra Leone (WRA-SL), we believe that education is not just a right — it's a pathway to a better life. Our scholarship initiative aims to remove the financial barriers that keep children out of school and young people away from vocational opportunities. We are inviting compassionate individuals and partners to become a sponsor and help us change lives.

    Our Work

We promote access to antenatal care, skilled birth attendance, and postnatal care. Our goal is to reduce maternal mortality through stronger health systems and equitable services.

Through prenatal classes, breastfeeding support, and family planning counselling, we equip women with knowledge to make confident health choices.

Workshops and mentorships provide young girls with leadership, resilience, and personal development tools to support their growth.

We run vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and financial literacy sessions to help women and girls achieve economic independence.

We provide scholarships and academic support to girls and young women, enabling them to access quality education. By removing financial barriers, we foster long-term empowerment and help cultivate future leaders in communities across Sierra Leone.

We work with communities and policymakers to prioritize maternal health in local and national agendas through campaigns and public dialogues.

Midwives, nurses, and community health workers receive culturally sensitive, respectful care training to improve maternal care quality.

We identify best practices and test innovative solutions to address maternal health challenges and scale effective approaches.
